About Us

About Us

Hight Rock Lake, with its 365 miles of pristine shoreline, is home to The High Rock Marina and Campground. Spend time with us while enjoying the pleasures of the beautiful state of North Carolina.

Bring your RV or rent a cabin. Our family atmosphere, clean facilities and campground amenities will assure you a great time. Enjoy the pool, snack bar and fishing piers. We have 2,000 feet of waterfront, shade trees, gently rolling hills, great fishing and family fun.

For a really SPECIAL weekend, rent a boat. Pontoon boats provide great opportunities to enjoy the lake. We do allow fishing on some pontoons. High Rock Lake is known for its bass fishing. If you want to bring your own boat, we have a private ramp for lake access. Ask about renting a boat slip while you're here!

"This is a place to book out well in advance! We love the quaint cabin rentals, some are right on the water. The pool is currently not open due to COVID but between being out in the lake, campfires, walking the grounds - the day was filled. A great place for a long weekend away! Staff are great! If you book in advance, they do have boat rentals if you don't have your own."

"Wonderful family oriented place to camp. They have their own boat ramp, swimming pool, playground, and a store with a few gaming necessities. They have a marina where you gan drive your boat right into and get gas and air for your inflatables. Inside the store is a grill that has really good food and a little ice cream parlor. There is a bathhouse as well as a laundry room. The campground is very well kept and clean. The rules are a little strict but it's necessary to make it enjoyable for everything and they are not unreasonable. Its pet friendly and leashes are required. You have to clean up after your furry friend, again, this makes it nicer for all. They do not sell beer but they do have ice in 2 different sizes. They sell cigarettes but they don't have a huge variety. The campground is right on the lake and has lots of shade. They have both 30 amp and 50 amp sites with full hookup. There's a Dollar General very close and a Food Lion about 5 miles away.”
